There are companies that have a standard range of products that comes close to meeting their customers' requirements, but it might not be perfect.

We believe that if a customer has a specific requirement we should be able to supply that need.

Our bespoke service primarily focuses on the modular and mobile cold room products, where flexibility is partly built into the basic designs we use. Our engineers are then able to take your idea and create a safe and efficient display or storage unit with the minimum of fuss and, just as importantly, cost to our customers.

One of our regular customers was looking for a solution to an ongoing problem. They are a major meat supplier across the United Kingdom and exhibit at many of the major agricultural shows; however they could never display full sides of beef professionally and hygienically.

When we were approached with this challenge, we produced an outline solution within 24 hours. Using a basic P400 unit, we added double glazed windows to one side, with heaters fitted around to prevent condensation building up. Meat rails were added to the ceiling of the unit, supported by the roof of the cold room, the inclusion of a motorised canopy enabled direct sunlight to be kept off the beef. As a finishing touch, we replaced the standard lighting fitted with special red lighting that maximises the display of meat.

By utilising a standard sized room, we were able to keep costs to a minimum for a hire period of only one week per year. The customer had great success the first year the unit was delivered, winning awards for the display, and have taken the unit each subsequent year since.

A packaging company required a temperature-regulated clean room to re-package goods. After discussing the need with our installations team, we proposed a special sized modular room measuring 13.5m x 8m.

Due to the customer's employees working inside the room, the option of fitting an air conditioning unit was taken up along with the fitting of special doors to the unit and creating spaces in the walls of the rooms for conveyor belt access.

The particular advantage of using a modular room has been recently brought to light when the customer asked for the room to be modified to accept foodstuffs. By fitting a different temperature control unit, we were able to achieve this with the minimum of cost and delay.
